After spending far too long behind shelter walls, Samuel is finally getting his chance at a better life. Today, he’s leaving the Polk County shelter and stepping into a world where love and safety come first. Though we’re still getting to know him, what’s already clear is that Samuel has a gentle heart and a quiet strength that carried him through the toughest days. He will be neutered, up to date on all shots, and now safe in our care while he adjusts to freedom and comfort.
We’ll be sharing more photos and updates as Samuel settles in—but one thing’s for sure: his days of being overlooked are over. Samuel’s story is just beginning, and it’s already filled with hope.
